Introducing the Xalapa Wild Landrace Spore Print – Sourced from the Highlands of Veracruz, Mexico
In 2024, a rare and untouched Psilocybe cubensis landrace was discovered near a farm just outside of Xalapa, Mexico. This specimen was wild-foraged by our friend and fellow mycologist Toltec, a devoted explorer of Mexico’s sacred fungi traditions. The mushrooms collected were perfect in form — tall, golden-capped, and radiating the resilience of their native environment.
This print captures the raw genetics of a strain untouched by domestication, straight from the heart of Veracruz. For collectors and microscopy enthusiasts, this is a chance to examine a true landrace — a window into the mycological past and an invitation to observe nature in its purest, most unaltered state.
